30th of Ju...

It's been a month now, since I left. And of course, because I loved being in America so much - I am going to mention it on my blog.Already a month. Wow. That was pretty fast. I believe that everything will slow down in a little bit - I am no more running between family, friends and things that I missed.
There is nothing much to say really - all that I feel - you know. You know how I miss y'all.
Sometimes, I am remembering the time at home - how Taylor jumped out of Terry's house(not Terry - her husband, but her brother's wife), yelling "my little bird", in band - the first day I came before school started, Gosh, my heart was about to jump out of my breast - I honestly was afraid that I will not be able to keep up with band, and then communist jokes among jazz people and Friday games, men, I miss them too. I remember living at Taylor's and Terry's house - our bank bad that we shared with Ola, finally, after some practice I could get on the top bad with only one jump. And grand piano, oh my God, that grand piano was amazing... Living with the Bird family, going places with them (I was in Vegas, baby!), which I am really thankful for! Family reunion with Kim's family - that was the biggest (and craziest) family I've ever seen and knew ;). Christmas, ocean, UIL, fabulous b-day party and June...
So I remember that and lots of other moments and thinking: "Wow, that was my life!".
The most important thing not to forget that - yes, it is/was, because now, in my head there is sort of a fog, that makes all my reminiscences to be seemed not real. Please, remind me sometimes, that I didn't just sleep the last year.

I have some stuff that I would like to write, but since this post seems to be sad, I will keep it this way and find another time to tell you about my daily life.
And, as one great person told me- Don't cry, because it is over. Smile, because it happened. And I will, because who, I was gonna be if not US? Just a girl from a bio-psychological school department, which I still am, but now I am more than  just that.

Coffee

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!
I drink American coffee! No, my mom did not buy coffee maker, but we have grinder though. And.... I just don't know how to call that...

DCFC Shirt +

Wow, it's almost Thursday for me - I think you should get some news. I have not that much of it, though.
First of all, I just dyed my hair into copper color, but since my hair suddenly got longer - there wasn't enough of this magnificent L'Oreal color (they owe me for advertising), so to make the story short and less cheesy - my hair still has real red on it. We'll see what it is gonna be in the morning though and maybe (maybe - means if I  will still have hair) I will send you a picture.
Tomorrow is a work day. Yes, a shooting range, that originally belonged to my friend Sveta. I think that she said that now it's all mine, coz her other friend found something else for her. For me - well, better then nothing. My graphic is two after two, from 2 pm till 10 pm (that's kinda pisses off my mom, but the perspective of trying a waitress job is worse for her).
Honestly, why I am doing this is a mystery - money are not that good and my legs are just dying after all - almost 8 ours standing there. My mom(I don't know why she doesn't want me to work that bad - somebody from adults that are reading this, please, explain me), suggested me a job at home - 5 days a week to take Nikita from kindergarten. She said that she will give me 100 rubley, which is about 4 bucks. Tell you what - not bad for going out of the house for 5 minutes, but who said that I am sitting at home the whole day? And besides, common - we are a family, I will just go and take him, even buy a candy if I was free.

Bad news - no good pictures from me at all. But there is some from internet. I think this is something that i must have.

For those who don't know - it is the name of really nice band. I can play No Sunlight song. =)

Taste

Nothing much is really happening, but I just must feed you with news that do not make any sense.
So the other day my mom get back from our summer house(garden) with a big jar of blueberries. Guess what did my half-Russian-half-American mind decided to do? Right. Peanut butter-blueberry toast.
I didn't buy a toaster(still), as well as coffee maker(still), so I just fried bread.
Another idea that just came to my head - blueberry pancakes! Of course, duh! Somebody, send me a recipe, please, because I think I missed some ingredient last time.

Taste of America

We also had a scary rain this day and a clear sky afterwards. I heard there was rain in Salado. Is it true or I should not believe Mr. Bremer's facebook posts anymore?

Shoes to die for

H.S
To begin with I spent almost two days on the hills! Oh My Gosh, my legs are just dying now. Why did I do that? Well, everything began with piano teacher and a classmate Ksenia - we decided to meet (me)\talk (about my American experience)\eat. But after all, my friend called me and invited to her house, which wasn't that far, but then we went to Harry Potter. And the next day...Spontaneously - shopping! With no cent in my purse =\ Oh well, I bought a dress...again.

My piano teacher's name is Ludmila Ivanovna Krotova. She taught me in my musical school since I was 6 and though I graduated 2 years ago - we still keep in touch, visit and play the piano. She is 62 years old lady and still working with 8 students. Every year she swears that she'll not take anybody new, but oh well...
I love this woman very much, she gave me not just music lessons, but love to it and some life lessons too.

While we were sitting in the park, I noticed wedding and started spy on them. By the way, those two days - Friday and Saturday, there were too much weddings =) We saw brides and heard cars everywhere.
(It's a tradition, whenever wedding guests going to some place - they follow each other and honk on the road.)
Well, those too, honestly didn't seem very happy to me.

Okay, what's next. Harry Potter!!! Finally. I was jealous the whole time that you guys, in America could see it since 2nd July(right?). Well, the premiere in Russia was 13th July, and I totally understand why, but still - not fair! A week after I go there and see the last part of the movie of my childhood( lots of people like to say it now). You might think that I am a freak (I've always been though), but I read all books, saw movies, dreamed that I will go to Hogwarts  where Harry(Fred/George Wisleyl) will see me and merry me, learnt magic phrases and had HP posters all over in my room - so I can say that Joann Roling's story is a part of my childhood.. I was warned that I am gonna cry, but it didn't happen, more likely that I will cry from laugh, because whenever I watch a movie with Anastasia - we made a comedy of it, even it is a horror one.
Anyway, movie was fun, but I am always very critical to cinematography work, so if you want to see something - never listen to me - just go and built your view. I hope y'all liked it though.

After movie, we went back to her apartments, ate, and went out with Jack. I believe it was after 11 o'clock and get back home a little bit after midnight. Wow. Record. We went to sleep after three a.m. Not a record. Woke up after one p.m. Record for me. Anyways, pictures are more interesting than me telling you my sleeping history.
After exhausting shopping, in the park square, when it wasn't Texas hot, but, man, it was really HOT:

Don't know why my blog is leaving a giant space between pictures here, without ability to fix it. But this is my shopping result. New dress. Again. 10 $

Guns' (no Roses)

Well, Wednesday turned out pretty good, to begin with...

When I woke up I had a huge desire to eat pelmeni - traditional Russian dish that we usually NOT eat for breakfast. Oh well, I found some in the freezer and fried them. If it's not looks appetizing to you, trust me - they are amazing, especially with sour cream.

The next step is my phone. My NEW phone. When I went to America I had my cell with me - just in case I find a Sim card or anything. But it died. One day it just went off and never turned on again. Saaaad.
Later I had this cute green one, but in Russia the only one that was not used by anyone at my house was...well just old. And I didn't mind, coz I am not a great texter - here texting is not free, and I am fine to use phone just for calls. But my grandmother decided to take pity on me(did I use it right? coz I checked Google translator for this phrase) and buy me a new one. Since I am showing off a lot here, I'll do the same with Nokia. It's nice. And I  think that my friend Anastasia has the same black one...mmm..

I also found out that my essay that I participated in the contest with is sort of published in the American Council website. Everybody could read that! OMG. I am embarrassed.

And the last, but not least part is that I hanged out with my friend Svetlana in the park, where we met couple arrogant pigeons. And then we went to her work - shooting range, where I might work as well. Gosh...why is it so hard to find a job here? I don't want to stand in the streets and pass flayers or suggest to random people different products, and my mom doesn't want me to be waitress in the summer cafe, because she thinks it's dangerous, and I can't do certain jobs before I am 18. Arr...Anyways - a few pictures, as always.

Wanna learn Russian word? Sour cream - smetana - сметана.

Cups

Nothing fun happened today, but I really want to post something. I guess it's like a habit now.
By the way, I think that I fixed the comment system, so now - if anyone wants to comment my posts - they are certainly welcome.

In summer, when there is nothing to do outside - you usually try to find an escape from you room. More often you find it in the internet and by doing this you can also find lots of  interesting things.
And you all heard about my collection of cups that is left  America(I should made an auction). Yeah, I am a freak.

Cups that are worth to be there.

Of course the Harry Potter one(s).

OMG, this one is an amazing cute monster-cup.

This is just neat, I'll try to do it sometime.

For those who'll call me a plagiarist. Yeah, those are not my pictures and if I am illegal - sorry, I hope my excuse that I am Russian will work. Cute pictures, though. Thank you to somebody.

Garden

Hello hello, my dears, if you look sometimes at my posts on facebook you should already know that I was out of town all weekend. Now, I am ready to post some results here. Mostly, just pictures, because there was really not much to do outside of town with complete isolation from the city(well, not really complete - we had internet on my friend's phone and we went to  the little store couple times). We just sort of relaxed there, talked a lot, ate berries, laid on the sun and went to bad about 5 o'clock in the morning each day.

I bet, you sort of got the meaning of the word garden for Russians. Very important. For grannies that are either bored or flower and vegetables freaks. They have this territory somewhere out of town where they plant stuff and have a house to stay.
It was my friend's garden - they developed it long time ago, so if you will compare it to my family's garden - I will lose, coz you probably can not even sleep at ours.
Anyways, besides our antisocial life for a weekend you can see there magic bubbles that I bought in Wall-mart, but never tried in US.
And a little communist flag that we accidentally found in the attic. It's for those who gets inside jokes. ;) Especially for Mr.B and other band nerd that liked to spend their time in the office after\during jazz band.

 Enjoy pictures. Lots of pictures.
