Happy Birthday

23.09
Rachel! Happy birthday, dear! I hope you are keeping up our "stab list" =) (I put "stab list" in quotes, so people that try to be spies, like Mr B, won't guess that it's a real one).
 25.09
Well, Ilona, last time this date came up we were full of chocolate and promises not to eat any piece of it anymore (thought we did, man, it was Death By Chocolate!), I hope your 18th birthday(yahoo, somebody is an adult) will be as memorable as the 17th one. =)

The Dorm (ta-da)

Well, I hope y'all understand that I am suffering from a heavy Mother Russia school program and can't write or even use internet for a lot of time, but here I am - posting a creepy stuff about the place I am living at. The Dorm.

First of all, I'd like to tell you that it's not a college dorm - we are pupils - still "little" kids, so we do have a bunch of rules how to behave in the dorm. Here is our schedule of the day.
7:45 wake up
8:00 breakfast
8:45 leave the dorm - go to classes
9:00 classes start
15:15 or 16:00 classes end and we have a free time
18:00 you have to be in your room and study
19:00 dinner
20:00 you have to be in your room and study
22:00 free time
23:00 lights out
But I hope you understand that we are...not really following that =)
We often miss breakfast, so we can sleep more and leave the dorm like one second before a bell, visit each other in our rooms when we have to study and lights out could be lights out in three in the morning.

The rules about behavior are common and they don't need to be mentioned, but there is one special "rule" - a privilege for girls or a "gentleman's rule" - girls first. To the cafeteria, in doors, for the water for tea, free from meetings etc.. But if a boy, will do something not like a gentleman and the main educator (THE MAIN ONE!) will see that, well... poor guy.

On our free time we usually don't do anything, but drink tea and visiting other rooms, sometimes study if we didn't finish when it was time for it, sometimes we don't even study, because there is nothing to do.
(not the very best sentence I've ever wrote)

Games. Okay maybe we don't just waste time - sometimes we play! As far as I live here I discovered 2 games. Killer and Mafia. I don't need to tell you what is mafia for sure, I remember how the whole my algebra class played it on the floor when we were done with paperwork.
I posted something about Killer game on Facebook, but will remind you its purpose again.
Everybody gets a card with a name on it - victim. You have to "kill" this person, which means kiss him somewhere(not compulsory) alone, and get his card. And so on. It's really fun "to hunt" in the beginning, and even creepy, because anywhere you go you hear whispers "Hey, did you kill him?", "Who is your victim?", "Who is next", "Murder", "Killer", girls scream and nobody walks alone.
I am not sure but I think that game is still up. =)

Tea time. It's always a tea time. We always go downstairs to get water and hang out in our room(since its the biggest). If there is no tea in a room, its really bad, if there is no tea and no food in the room, it's like...death?
I know I exaggerate, but the dorm people are always hungry. And food in cafeteria doesn't satisfy us sometimes.

I am done for today - I have to study now, I can say that it's difficult here. For my first chemistry test I got the worst mark - 1. But on the next lesson I was well prepared, so my teacher was surprised, I felt like a genius.
On my first biology test there were two possible marks. I was the one who got the best mark - 5, but my second mark was 1. I am a genius again =D
Oh, and here is a tip for you - if there are lots of girls with beautiful (but similar) hairstyles in the dorm - look for the master...

Day after another one

To begin with, I lost an ability to appear in any social networks everyday. Suddenly - it's all about internet.
So my posts won't be that frequent as they used to.
Anyways, I moved in and survived here for 7 days already. It didn't become a daily rutine yet, especially
if you will notice that the life here is just in the process of its establishing.

31st of August
The day we sat in a car and realized that none of us wanted to leave summer for 9 months again. Oh well, we had a pretty quick trip to Yekaterinburg and crazy afternoon in the dorm. We also had class meetings in school, which supposed to give us opportunity to get to know our new classmates and a class principal teacher. I was late, because I had a problem with a nurse - she wanted some papers that I didn't expect to exsist. The meeting went okay though, I get sort of a "special understanding" from my principal teacher, she  asked me if everything was okay with my adoptation in dorm. Emm, she is really nice, but that was weird at the beginning - now it's not - if somebody calls my name - everybody understands it as "a-girl-who-went-to-America". It's not annoying at all - just funny and I feel like a Harry Potter, you know he was "a-boy-who-lived" and and I am "a-girl-who-left".
Our evening was pretty busy and crazy as well, because we were knocking to all rooms in the dorm - trying to get equaint with other new people.
It was so much fun that we all had headaches and fall asleap immidiatly when the lights went off.

32nd of August
Okay it is 1st of September, but why not? For Russian kids September means - school and if there are no classes this day but a celebration why couldn't we keep it still an August? It doesn't have to be formal =)
At 11 am we had another meeting with my class and at 11:30 we stand in front of the school listening to 11 graders' greeting prepared for us - 10 graders(for those who haveproblems with memory - I have to repeat a year I missed for America and let me remind you that in Russia we have 11 grades). Then there were long boring speeches of the school administration and recognition of all class principal teachers. After all, I waited on my friends that are in 11 grade to have the same thing beetwen them and went to celebrate The Day of Knowledge in town.
Unfortunatelly, none of my expectations came true. I can tell now that if you wish the day to be awesome and prepare everything for it - it won't. It would, when you will less expect it.
We went to the Park, that was certanly beautiful, but we did nothing - just stand there(in all our bombastic outfits)and talked with some people that graduated from our school. Then we walked and walked with no aim until everybody understand that just walking on hills is not fun at all. We sat in the first cafe we saw and we were unfortunate here too if you mean food, the seats were pretty comfortable though - we rested enough and walked again to find a bus stop.
I can't tell that the whole day was sucks though, it was alright - we had some ice cream and walked down the streets like fashion models where people looked at us sitting in their cars when the traffic was bad.

OMG, I don't know what to do in breaks! They are too long after Salado breaks - 10 to 20 minutes! So my classes seem very short, plus they are 40 minutes!
Shock.

3rd of September
My dear pictures - I give you freedom.
We were not at school this day, but we went camping with the whole school (everybody to different places). 11 grade did some competitions for us and in the end "devoted us on their way to study" - I am not sure how to explain that, I guess it's something Russian.

4th of September
Since we were coming back late from camping - there was no reason to come home for a weekend, so we stayed in dorm, not necesarily IN dorm, but in town for sure.
On Sunday we went to get some school supplies, hanging around the central part of the city we got hungry and girls showed me a wonderful Pole's Bakery, where I hope to be back soon, but not too soon, because I spent all my money limit for two weeks and barely have some for my tiket to home. Actually, we hoped to see a movie this day too - "One Day", but unfortunatelly none of cinemas would sell us tickets with 50% off - they do that for students, not on the weekends though. This fact kind of upset us, so my friend Anastasia decided to go back to dorm, my..dormmate went to see her boyfriend and I decided to use a chance that I am in the city - called  Evgenia and hanged out with her for a couple hours.
Later in the evening we had a home-made cinema - we all watched Wild Target on laptop.

Classes went fast, biology teacher seems "sweet" - an old old school lady, she is an evil lector, after school I hoped to finish my message to y'all, but suddenly was
attacked and taken to the picknick with some students from humanity classes. We made some fondu and the played office golf, but golf was I after I left was after I left with my bio-class friends, well, I don't like golf anyway.

The day started at seven because of the desire to take a shower before school, it it was not that easy though - there was already a line to the cabins.
The day also started nice to me, because when I came back to my room thinking of not having breakfast I found a cup of coffee on my table. Neat=) It entirely made my day.

7th of September didn't come yet, but I will bug you with my schedual again, I promise that I won't write about this boring things ever again until my schedual will be established or something interesting won't happen.

P.S: I am very very unhappy with my English group and the sad part is that I have only 4 hours of English per a week, next year it would be 5 and it's not enough of course! I had a though (a pretty depressing thought) that for the last year of HS I am gonna be back to my old school just to have lots of English classes.
My friend asked me what was I only thinking about when I prepared for biology class exams.I said - "Well, everything is changing"..

I MISS MY CAT =)
