OK, yes, I was absent for a while and didn't even finish all the Turkey posts, but, oh well, I can explain =)
I was busy. That's it. Now that I have a break and New Year is coming I'll bring my exuses to y'all and give some new information about my life here.

Well, I have a new laptop, which is probably not that interesting as I have a new hobby. Even two hobbies.
Firstly, I registered on the website http://www.postcrossing.com/ to exchange post cards with people around the world. I haven't sent many cards yet, as well as received, but it's a really nice thing to do from time to time. Next, I started making cards myself not ago. I've made three currently, but I m planning to do more for holidays.

that's how my table looks like during the holidays. it's clean

Christmas tree at home
What else, hm...  I lost weight, I've created a lot of videos for my classmates' birthdays. And I am teaching my brother now how to make snowflakes from paper.

T-Day 3. T-Day 4

Turkey Day 3

Kinda wasn't ready for the third day, apparently it came pretty soon ;)
It was 42 C which is  107 F outside, well, since the most part of the day I was at the beach - the weather seemed nice to me.  I had aerobics, gymnastics and watched men's water polo before lunch. Btw, lunch was delicious and super easy. I had fish and rice and a little desert. Don't know why, but these fish and rice seemed to me like the best thing I've ever had.
Then my mom and I went back to the street market to try to return a water gun that we bought for my brother the other day. If you don't understand what I am talking about and you've been at some parties in Bird's house - I mean those "guns" that we play with in the pool.
Surprisingly we did switch it and went back to the hotel to have some cup of tea before the bus...
THE bus took us to the mall in Kemer. Well, frankly speaking, you can barely call it a mall. It's more of a simple store with two floors but little territory. I bought a long sleeve short (and lately I found BERSHKA's tag on it), a blue scarf and a white scarf, a candle place and a cool pen. Everything for 60$.
The last part of the day was pretty similar to the previous evenings, so no need to describe it again. Pictures are in the end of the post.

Turkey Day 4

The scenario:
  • woke up
  • sea
  • fruits for lunch
  • street market - we bought lots of t-shirts and THE DRESS!!!
So this is  a major dress of all the time. It's white and long. I can't put a picture of it, because I'm planning to wear it to prom, so you gotta wait almost a year to see what did I spend 70$ for. Or...you can secretly ask me to send you a photograph....
  •  Later on, at the lobby bar I met a guy from Georgia, USA. I helped him out with ordering drinks - people who work at our hotel know Russian pretty well, but have problems with English, plus the Georgian guy believed that his accent was...heavy. So I worked as a translator. Then, we had a little chat - get acquainted with each other and went back to our vacations separately. For me - it was such a pleasure, finely to talk with someone whose native language is English.
  • sea
  • dinner - mexican rice!! and spicy wraps
  • desert - again the best ever, it popped in your mouth and something sweet like honey or syrop meltted in there. Yummy!!
  • went to watch "Turkish Night" - national dances at the amphitheatre

T-Day 2

Surprisingly it started with waking up, coming down for breakfast and going to the sea to get some sun bath and an actual bath in salt water.
In 11 o'clock I went to water aerobics at the hotel pool - I decided that it will be nice to do some sports over there, especially because of the buffet with a big variety of deserts.
After lunch my mom and I went to the street market and bought rahat lokum, if you still have no idea what the heck is that, check out this link. This is one of the best delicious deserts on this planet. We didn't spent much time  there - very soon we were back at the hotel to have some rest and at 4 I was back at belly dance class.
For dinner we had a reservation to an Italian restaurant, although it's kinda strange to eat Italian in Turkey, but we wanted to try it. Plus, I wasn't in such a place since I left States. Anyways, it was cancelled for some reason. But when we came down for dinner at the buffet we saw an Italian stand with various pasta, different spices and meet choice. Later we understood that Hotel "like" to attract tourists with different cuisines some days, though you could always find their usuals.
I wasn't a fan, I still believe that I can cook better. Well, I have to admit they had a good meet.
That night I wore a dress and as every tourist does, we desired to go to the beach and to make some pictures.
Later this night we checked out the animation program for kids and adults. It turned out that kids' program is almost the same every day and adults' one goes over and over again every week. Mondey - Mr Hotel, Tuesday - Ms Hotel, Wednesday - National dances and so on.
I was waiting for the disco that supposed to start at 11.30 p.m. I hoped that it will be really fun, well at least people will dance and music will be loud and cool. Unfortunately my expectations failed...again(same with fruits)And I hoped to dance there so bad =(
This was a quiet day, probably some interesting stuff you'll hear when i'll talk about excursions. But now, look at some photos and sorry if you feel my "unpleasant" mood through the post - I've just watched Dr. House.

I saw that on the street market. This is suppose to be somewhat funny. You see, there are lots of Russian tourists in this area so even some advertisements are done with Russian language(most of the time - with lots of spell-mistakes). You know a clothes brand Armani? Well, that says Harmani.

Turkey. Day 1

Not so long ago I had a trip to Turkey for 10 days.  Now, I am back, well, since last week actually. I just found some time to tell you about it, although it's summer - it doesn't mean that I'm not doing anything at all.

Day 1.

Our flight was early in the morning on 23rd of June. It continued for about 4 hours, during which we were freezing at the the plane. But after landing it was so nice to breeze in cool fresh sea salt air. We arrived at the Sunland Hotel at about  7 or 8 in the morning, and were really glad that they gave us a room immediately - so we didn't wait till the check in time which was at 2 afternoon. Though we were kinda tired we went to look what the hotel was. We found a big pool, little water-park for kids with 5 waterslides. Then, lots of bars outside with nice constantly flirting barmen and free drinks.Btw, they have a great SPA.
There was a buffet restaurant that had a fine variety of goods,  though there were no pork at all(poor bacon) apparently coz of the muslim religion they won't cook it even for tourists. Our fruit-expectations were so high that we felt a little disappointment. We were hoping that in Turkey there will be so many different, even exotic, delicious fruits. But... sometimes even the watermelons were not sweet.

At 2 afternoon, or earlier we met our guide and signed up for excursions. The whole awfulness of this meet I will explain later.(in the end of the post)
After lunch we had a nap and at 4, my mom sent me to the belly dance courses. It was really awesome so I'm glad that I went there in last second.
Before we had dinner we went to look at the sea - there is an underground way for it, so it takes less than a minute to get to the beach.

It was a quiet day after all and we went to bed at 9 o'clock, so we would have some energy for the next day.

The (big-fat liar) Guide Situation

I believe that this information will be very useful for you if you ever decide to go to Turkey.
I am afraid that situation is the same with "fresh" tourists from all over the world.

Sure there are different tour agents and stuff but as a usual on the first day of your vacation you have a meeting with your guide(agent). He does some formal stuff with documents( you don't have to get visa if you are going there less then for 60 days, but they have to do some registration somewhere) and then tells you about Turkey and suggests you some excursions.
Now, all things that he will tell you there is a LIE.

Firstly, he will tell you that you shouldn't use tour-agencies on the street. Because if anything happens your healthcare won't work and probably this is the one reason, but your guide could also add something like "our excursions are the best".
Well, if you are really scared of being in another country and that something will happen to you - go ahead buy his excursions, but if you are interested in saving some money, say "Go to hell" or find some polite phrase for it.
In reality, excursions might be not as interesting as your guide says and later (in a couple next posts) I'll tell you my story about it. Also, they are much more expensive. Forexample, a day on a yacht could cost 20-30$ while your guide will sell it to you for 65$. And this is real! My mom and I had a chance to be sure of it, unfortunately.
In case he would say "I need your answer right now", don't let him manipulate you. It's his job to be there for you, so he must be there(or another agent from your firm) everyday. Of course some excursions are not everyday, but it also doesn't mean that you'll sign up for something on your second day in Turkey.

Next, your guide will tell you that at the end of your vacation you will visit a factory, where you can buy sweets to bring them back home. A person from the company will give you discount cards so you could buy "5 pounds(2 kg) of rahat lokum for 10$" (that what our guide told us). The main argument will be that you would be able to bring home fresh sweets. The same story with fruit wines(God, those are delicious! I am able to tell you that, because Russians are aloud to drink alcohol since 18. Besides, Turkish fruit wines are light, sweet and remind some sort of a juice). He would also say that they have special trips for souvenir, fur and leather shops, where you no doubt will get a good discount (btw, those discounts depends on the prestige of your hotel).
In reality, he lies again.
My mom and I bought rahat lokum for 7$ per 1 kilo(2,5 pounds) on a street market and it was great, because In the "factory" Sorbet that we've been before our flight, those 2,5 pounds costed 18$!
If a tourist believed his guide what did he have left to do? He didn't have sweets or something else for souvenirs, so he would have to buy some there. What's more he would have to make some decisions about amount  of sweets immediately and quickly, because there is not so much time that they give to "walk around" in this shop.
The same story is with wines. You could buy them on the street market for 8-10$, while in the "special" shops they cost up to 25$(same brands). What about textile and fur - just go to the street market.
Street market is a great opportunity to try sweets(for free), wines and to bargain/chaffer(*not sure which one of this words is fine).

Your guide will also advertise you Hamam. This is a Turkish sauna. They advertise it for tourists because that's how "you will get a perfect tan".
Now, if you really want it, remember - Hamam is free. Your hotel SPA has it. But what they would suggest you - a peeling, massage and mask for your face in addition to Hamam is not free. In our hotel it was 50$ for 45-50 min. Your guide will suggest you that for 35$. I am not sure how much it will be on the street agencies, but that thing will suck anyway(it's the same place where your guide will take you). If you really want this spa procedure, do it in your hotel. Those trip that your guide will suggest you is just..gross. I've seen the pictures and heard that from people. Firstly, there are men and women at the same place!!!! Then, there always lots of people so you would have to wait for a massage person. Not fun.

To sum up, don't believe your guide(or any other shop assistant) if he tries to establish good relations with. It's not that they like you, it's called "you think I like you so you'll thin that I care". And shop assistance - they just hope that you will be ashamed to bargain* with them. Except young Turkish guys, those will always ask you to marry them(if you are a young lady),  and give you great discounts.

to be continued...

Hello, summer

Where to start from...Hmm.. It's been a while since I wrote last time here. Well, I had excuses (exams, exams, exams!), but now now I should be back on track.

Let's start with school.
I successfully passed biology, math and Russian.Well, maybe not exactly "successfully", but at least "passed". Therefore, it means that I am staying in school till another period of passing the exams, which will be in winter. And then..I hope I'll pass again =)

We also had some nice  events for graduating kids. There was a concert in the dorm: the 11th graders presented their program and then we - the 10th grade, responded. All the pictures will be in the end.

Another event was for the whole school(not just for those who lives in the dorm). It's a tradition in Russian schools to have "The Last Bell" celebration. Usually, the active part of school makes something like a concert outside, which includes recognition of the teachers and classes(one class consists of about 20 students who are united with the same field of knowledge they would like to connect their lifes to, it's not necessarily the same for everybody, but mostly it's this way..)

The actual graduation where students will get their diplomas will be at the same day as prom, which is 27th of June. Btw, unlike in America, the 10th grade cannot go to the prom. (don't forget that we have only 11 grades!) Oh, well even if I could I won't be able to - coz....... I am going to Turkey!!!

Yes, it spells the same as a big Thanksgiving chicken, but I am going to the country-Turkey. =)
My mom decided that she want some rest and since she didn't go to any vacations for a long while, she needed it like.. NOW!!!
We hoped to go to Bulgaria for 3 weeks, then we changed our mind to Greece, but after all it's just 10 days in Turkey.
So TODAY, 22nd(23rd pretty soon), we have a flight to Turkey with my mother and brother. We gonna stay in Antalya at the Sunland Imperial Resort Hotel (click it!).

I'll try to keep up with news. But probably next message will appear in about two weeks.

Oh, and if you hadn't noticed on my FB page - I have a new hair cut. I cut it really short this time, although it was on purpose. I want to grow it really long and HEALTHY, so I was getting rid  of demaged hair.

Picture time, as always)))

Debate

Today I'm gonna say a big HI to mr. Cook, who was my Broadcast and Journalism teacher and who also was in charge of Debate team.
I always wanted to try Debates and we never had it in Russia. In America it wasn't possible either, because my speech wasn't good/fast/clear enough for American expectations, well, it's probably isn't enough now as well, but in Russia its another story...
Two English teachers decided to make a debate lesson(it's for one time) and I signed up. The topic was - Is Russian education better then in the UK? I was the leader of five people(one person didn't show up), and my team was for the UK education.
The program of our debates was:
Introduction 1st team, 2nd team.
Arguments 1st team. Questions.
Arguments 2nd team. Questions.
Counter-Arguments 1st team. Conclusion. Questions.
Counter-Arguments 2nd team. Conclusion.Questions.
Questions from the audience.

By the time it was over, I was the happiest person in the world, I know it might be not right but I felt really awesome after arguing the whole period and actually leading. The other team was good, but mine was better and to say honestly we would won if there were winners and losers. In the end I said a couple times:'Don't hate me'. =)

Man, I have such an awesome-proud-of-myself mood. =))

All sort of things...

Tomorrow is the las day of my spring break, so in the morning I'm heading to the Yekaterinburg. I'm going earlier - before noon, so I can spend some time in the book store and then go to the dorm to unpack my luggage.
I honestly don't want the end of the year, when it was just September it was so nice and seemed so far. Now, I have to care a lot about my exams. My midterm exams were biology and math, now I have those again plus one more - Russian. Funny thing that one of them could probably be on my birthday, ironically it probably would be zoology.

I'm wishing luck to my friend Dalayna who is now probably on her way back to Texas(or about to be).
I also want to say hey THE BAND. Guys, ya'll are awesome as always.

I apologize in front of Kim, because I forgot to say Happy Birthday when it was the 2nd of March. I am really really sorry, there is no excuse for me. But at least you get one more smile the day you are reading it, because I'm wishing you a happy birthday =) Thank you for all you've done to me, you are a great person and a great mother.

I also want to say Happy Birthday to Tatianna's mom - Rebel Para. I truly respect this woman and very thankful that she treated me as one of her kids. (She is the greatest cook and I still pray for her cheesecakes).

Things in my house are going slow. We finished the walls and set up doors in my brothers room and in the living room, now my stepfather is working on the floor in the living room. I believe that my room will be the last one to be finished. Oh, btw look at my brother's wall - there is a giant picture-poster from the cartoon Cars 2 (he is a great fan) and everything else is like a sky.

Potatoes in 10 steps

I know it's not a recipe blog and I'm not a great cook, but I'll feed you with the yummy stuff. It's easy that's why.
1. Find potatoes.
2. Peel the skin(potatoes' skin).
3. Boil potatoes.
4. Fry them. (lightly golden)
5. Put them in the plate and cut into mouth pieces.
6.  Poor some sour cream on the top.
7. Poor some sweet sauce. I did the pomegranate one. It's perfect for this.
8. Mix sauces.
9. Make sure that potatoes are dipped in the sauce.
10. Eat.

I know you won't do any of this things, but oh well, it's delicious.

Math Dress

My arithmetical progression of dresses increases with another one. No it wasn't the dress I was talking about. But still it's cute.

Friday, be good to me

You know how it always happens when you've been waiting for some special day for a while and the night before or the actual day went so wrong. I've been waiting for this Friday(23rd), I planned to go to Yekaterinburg(if you are confused - yes, I'm going to school there but now it's a spring break so I'm home), meet a friend, go to the Olympiad ceremony to get his award and then search for the dress. I am obsessed with fine dresses and really hoped to get a good one in the mall.
Well, to begin with my bus came late, so my friend Alex was waiting for me like an hour and half freezing outside. I spend about 40 minutes being stucked in traffic jams and by the time we finally came to the station I was so incredibly pissed off.
Next, we went to the coffee shop, to have some breakfast. We had some nice cappuccinos withe Banana Split flavor and Pina Colada flavor which were simple banana and  coconut. For the actual meal (and IT IS actual meal) we had a big piece of the New-York Cheesecake.
After we ate, we headed to the Youth Palace(I figured only now that I shoulda take a picture) for the ceremony. Maybe you are confused a little - what Olympiad? We have those every year in each school in the country on every subject. It consists of few stages: firstly the school level, if you have a good result you move on to the area(the town usually divided into few areas, so now they compete between each other), next step is town, then goes the district - the winners of the town's step compete between each other but now people from different towns from the whole district like in the same place. We went to the award ceremony of district winners and pupils that got good results. The next step would be a country level. Probably the last level, coz I don't think that those Olympiads could go so far to be international. You see it's sort of like UIL. Anyways, it was nice and quick, all participants got some okay headphones.
Then we went to the cafe had some Caesar salad and went to the mall. Here goes not pleasant and maybe selfish part -  I didn't find anything, so my mood was spoiled.
When I was totally desperate and wanted to forget about any shopping for the rest of my life we went to lunch at Traveler's coffee. It turned out that they had some good lunch suggestions, you can buy one lunch and feed two persons. We ordered sandwiches that came out so neat, pasta and some drinks.

We hanged out there for two hours or so when I had the "second breath opened", so we rushed to another mall that was close enough. I was very inspired but here goes the sad part again. I didn't find anything, once again. The last thing that almost smacked me in the face and let me go in knockdown was a lovely top with a enormous price.
After all, we went to the bus station, when I tried to buy a ticket home there was none. Only late buses which were not great with my mother. After all, the lady that worked on the station found a ticket(luckily!!!) for the bus at  about 7 o'clock. But Alex, poor thing, had to wait for his train like two hours after I'm gone.
Anyways, the time at the station was fine and cheering, we meet a guy that goes to school with us, hanged out and set each other in snow.

To sum up, well the day wasn't so bad, except me who badly wanted a new dress and behaving like a little child, but probably, I am gonna go and buy one right now, I saw it two days ago, it is kind of cute, so pray that it's still there or the Saturday will smack me just as Friday did.

I apologize in front of men that read it, coz I understand that you are not interested in girls' cries about shopping and their crazy desires for the dresses . =)

Love y'all.

Spring break

If I were in a regular state school I would write something like a cheerful "Yaaaaay!!!!". But I am not. And at that point, what I am really hoping to do on my spring break is finish my English project, and start to prepare for my summer biology exam. I would scream out "yay" that I have some extra time for doing that, bu I won't because, there is another headache that won't leave me alone for a while - I have to get to a bunch of doctor's appointments - just an ordinary check, but still it's so lame and  boring =\.

Remember how y'all used to say that the weather in Texas is crazy? Well, I think you kinda shared with us a little bit. To begin with, I wanna worn you that there is no snow here all year - it usually melts in March. Though it's almost April we have like crazy snowfalls. And it's not cold at all! We are not freezing! It usually goes like this - a bunch of fabulous snow and then comes the sun and it is melting and then again - "a storm". I think that this year the summer could be actually with the snow on the streets if nothing will change.

Yesterday, I went to my old school. We hanged out between classes, I sat there when they had physics and English, (did some biology). Well, kinda nothing changes =)

Aerobic Festival

Last Friday there was The Aerobic Festival in  my school, the idea of which was to present different teams of high schoolers with a dance performance. There were 32 dances and some of them were really good. I wasn't taking much pictures, because there were an awful light and I couldn't adjust my camera for it, which reminds me now of looking it up on the Internet.
Anyways, I can't suggest you well pictures as you understand, so I'll show you just three of them. If I get some more from the other guy -I'll add them later.
Here you can see the preparation behind the audience sits and in front of the 'stage' - it was held in the men's gym. If you notice girls in black with red spots on their costumes, you should know that they were awesome and very original. They are 11 graders from biological class(yes, you even can see Anastasiya, who you should know from my blog by now. Unfortunately the jury weren't really fair enough(and everybody think so), coz all that they got - the nomination of the most original costumes. I know, that sort of sucks.
If you'll notice girls in green on the left - those are from my biological class, except we are 10 graders

Here is my classmates. Their dance was amazing as well. If you ask me didn't I dance with'em or any other group, I'll tell you that I am totally persuaded (I did it myself) that I can not dance? so I prefered another option that we all had - to dance not in front of EVERYBODY, but just our PE teachers. Not that I'm afraid, but coz I am persuaded, though maybe next year...who knows....

Those guys plus some more girls - won. They were aiming to it and did it. All of them are from our dorm. Wish there would be some video to show.

 Besides
I'd like to make some sort of recognition and advertising.
Morgan Bird, you did a really great job blogging the UMC Haiti trip, it was truly interesting to read=)

Elections

I wasn't going to talk about elections in Russia or any of this politician stuff, well I kinda thought that some of you might be interested, but at the same time I was like - well\ok\whatever.. Anyways, now when it's all over and we have a "new" president for another 6 years, plus I kinda was asked to, I'm going to tell you all the ugly truth.
I'm not sure about the first voting wave(google it for more information), though I know that there were lots of falsifications, that caused lots of strikes and meetings. Mainly people didn't want the party of United Russia to lead the country anymore. Mostly people of young age went there and they actually say some real words. From their opinion(and mine as well) what we have with Putin(current president) is not a progress anymore, we are stucked. My granny says that Putin did a great job - "cleaning" - after the previous president who almost "killed" the country. He put back factories into work, made higher celeries and so on. I agree with it but what's now? The budget for educational and social systems is getting smaller and smaller all the time...
In the second tour, we had 4 candidates.
Vladimir Putin - United Russia. I said here what I could. He won. What a surprise. 63%
Sergey Mironov - Fair Russia. Not a popular one, haven't heard about his companies much.
Vladimir Zhirinovskiy - here goes the "ha-ha-ha-ha". He won't be a president of Russia ever, he is rude and makes himself a clown. I believe that people voted for him just for fun - to make a joke out of it. Not funny though =.=
Gennadiy Zuganov - it's a sweet candy for Mr. B and his jokes, coz this guy represents a communistic party. I've read his "promising" program where he talks a lot about money, well but here is a question - where is he gonna get those money for country. Print? Anyways he got a good percent after Putin, about 17. Why? Probably a bunch of old people(no offense to them) were dreaming about old lifestyle. BTW, this guy is like 70 years old...
Michail Prohorov - self-promotion. Businessman. About 45 years-old. Never married - no family, therefore no family values. Lots of people were thinking that he will become a president, as they founded him a good one to rule the country. I read his "promising" program and think that if he did become a president it would stay as just empty promises. First of all, you can't read the whole stuff that somebody wrote for him - it's too much, too complicated and not acceptable sometimes. Like what the heck with the pension and the amount of kids in the family? Why a person who had 4 kids get more money after he is off from work, while the other guy who worked as well hard or even harder gets less, because he had only one kid? What if the family had a chance only for a one child? Or what if those 4 kids were angels and the one in the family was really hard to cope with... Anyways, I am sleepy and doing an enormous amount of mistakes...
So we have the winner. Putin. Well, at least we know that Russia is still on its place.

Falsifications? Hell, yes!
Another strikes and meeting? Duh.
But no revolution, of course not. Don't believe the mass media. We are too afraid to loose our warm spots.

I'm afraid I'm not giving you the whole possible view, but if so - ask me for details, coz I can't continue that post anymore or I'll fall asleep on keyboard and end this message with zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

International Women's Day

The 8th of March is International Women's Day. It's a day when crowds of men are trying to buy flowers, they say tons of complements and so on, and so on... At the same time it's a Mother's day. granny's and every girl's day. Two weeks earlier was Defender's Day, we usually look at it as The Men's Day, although  you won't find this day as chaotic and crazy  as The 8th of March. Personally, I think it's funny but quiet obvious - women ask for more material attention or any attention.
In my class, boys were very original in a present way.  They had 14 different gifts. There  had to be one girl-volunteer and it was me, I had to turn away from all the presents. Whenever they picked a gift, they lightly described it to me, so I want have a right guess of what is anyways. I had to pick a girl who'll get it. It was pretty cool, oh and I got the best one - Nutella =)

IKEA

Two weeks ago I had a fabulous Sunday. I am writing it now because... Well, I guess I don't have to give excuses anymore, because all of them are connected with the Internet anyway.
Whenever I am staying for a weekend in the dorm it is almost always has been a tradition to go the mall MEGA and Ikea. The weekend I am talking about was pretty much traditional(in this way) but since nothing special is going on in my life - I'll keep writing.
I woke up at 7 am, so I could be at 8 in the railway station to meet my friend. It was still dark outside when I walked outside and it was snowing - perfect beginning of the day!
After we met, we went to the subway to get to the center of Yekaterinburg to have breakfast before our trip to the mall. We picked a coffeshop called Coffee House, coz I had a cupon for a second free capuchino - yummy. Spontaniously, we had a delicious cheesecake for breakfast. Once again - a perfect start for the day. Oh Gosh, how I miss american cheescakes..How I miss Ms Para's cheesecakes!!

Choccolate almond cheesecake!
After that, we finally went to the bus station to get to the mall. Some pix for y'all:

Isn't it looking like those plants from Harry Potter, I believe something like Mandragora is theirs name. =)

Yup. It's KFC again. Chicken stripes. God, they were delicious =)

On the way to the dorm, I met this sign. It is an advert of some building-selling company with the name "white house". But from the whole sight, you may think that it says "white house for sale". =)

And the star-guest of our "program" tonight is a can of Dr. Pepper!!! Can you believe it? My friend Anastasiya found it in a Stockman store (a store with expensive foreign groceries) and bought it for me. When she gave it to me this suterday I was the happiest person ever and still am - I don't have a soda, but I have a can. =) Hopefully, I'll be able to get some soon, Probably a can costs about 4-5 bucks. Crazy, huh?
