Debate

Today I'm gonna say a big HI to mr. Cook, who was my Broadcast and Journalism teacher and who also was in charge of Debate team.
I always wanted to try Debates and we never had it in Russia. In America it wasn't possible either, because my speech wasn't good/fast/clear enough for American expectations, well, it's probably isn't enough now as well, but in Russia its another story...
Two English teachers decided to make a debate lesson(it's for one time) and I signed up. The topic was - Is Russian education better then in the UK? I was the leader of five people(one person didn't show up), and my team was for the UK education.
The program of our debates was:
Introduction 1st team, 2nd team.
Arguments 1st team. Questions.
Arguments 2nd team. Questions.
Counter-Arguments 1st team. Conclusion. Questions.
Counter-Arguments 2nd team. Conclusion.Questions.
Questions from the audience.

By the time it was over, I was the happiest person in the world, I know it might be not right but I felt really awesome after arguing the whole period and actually leading. The other team was good, but mine was better and to say honestly we would won if there were winners and losers. In the end I said a couple times:'Don't hate me'. =)

Man, I have such an awesome-proud-of-myself mood. =))
