Well, well, well...
This week probably was nothing, but math and books. The deal is almost the whole my class failed math exam. There are 18 people and only three of them had a decent mark. The math exam was before the winter break, but this Tuesday we had "a second chance".  I did fine this time, although some people will have "the last chance" next week and I truly wish them luck, because I like them and don't want to loose them in the middle of the year, before we are actually going to be separated    and enter a new life.

After I was done with math I dived into The Hunger Games. I watched the movie when I was on the break and then I decided that it would be interesting to read the full version.  I mean that books usually provide more information. I was kinda hesitating about reading, because I've read some reviews and not all of them were positive. Then I realized that listening to other people's reviews is not a good idea at all. I would actually advice it to y'all. When you are thinking weather to read a book or not just do it. Tastes differ. So if you wouldn't like it just close it and take another one. Once, I heard that life's too short to spend it on bad reading. Btw, that what my classmate actually did with the third book of Hunger Games. =) Anyway, for now I've read the 1st book and I'm starting the 2nd one. If somebody wants to discuss - I'm ready for anybody.
In addition, I'm reading in English. We have it translated too, but after I read a few pages in Russian I understood that it's not...quiet right and I wasn't mistaken, coz in English it's much better and nicer. I can't explain it. It just feels very nice and tremulous to me and closer to the US somehow with all the missing stuff. It also develops my vocabulary =) Plus, language is that sort of thing that is not repeatable. I mean, of course you can translate books, but it's another task to interpret the style of author, the power of the certain language. If you know what I mean.

Today, after school I went to the mall with Alex. It took us a long ride, though it was worth it, kind of... I bought a new pair of pants, the red ones, some other stuff and batteries for my camera. My camera was out of order for a while, I finally decided that I need to do something with it and even bought good expensive batteries and then, what a bummer, it's still not working =( My last hope is that I need to change one last tiny battery. If it's not going to work either, then I'm desperate, coz Alex's birthday is next weekend and I was planning on taking some pictures.
Btw, my grandpa's b-day is on 25th of January, unfortunately I won't be at home for it.
See y'all soon.
